Post Land Option 1 Optional Land Add-On: Southern & Northern Iceland Explorer (Aug 15-20)

Ā

Dates: August 15–20, 2026

Duration: 6 Days / 5 Nights
Start/End: Reykjavik, Iceland (round-trip)
Tour Provider: Goway Travel
Activity Level: Moderate to Active
Group Size: 10–18 guests
Price: From $4,650 per person (10–14 guests)Ā From $4,079 per person (15–18 guests)Ā

The second portion (August 15–20) is a small-group, active adventure that takes you across the entire southern and eastern coast of Iceland and includes:Ā

5 different hotel stays in remote and scenic locations

More mileage covered and more time on the road (which increases fuel, time, and guide/driver costs)

Adventure experiences like a glacier hike, e-mountain bike tour, and a visit to the Mývatn Nature Baths

More meals, more entry fees, and more intensive guiding

It’s essentially a higher-tier experience that brings you deep into parts of Iceland most tourists never reach—think dramatic coastlines, lava fields, glacier lakes, and wildlife-rich regions.

Also, these remote locations don’t have the same volume of hotel supply, so lodging is more expensive per night than in Reykjavik.

You’re not just extending your trip—you’re stepping into an immersive, off-the-beaten-path expedition. It’s priced accordingly and delivers tremendous value for the adventurous traveler.
